Using the Matching Assistant

The Matching Assistant will help you choose which campuses best meet your specifications. There are a number of different parameters from which you can choose. Once you have selected the options that best meet your requirements, you may view a list of all campuses that match your specifications.

Definition of Terms

Major/Academic Program: The availability of a particular undergraduate program or major at the campus. Enter all or part of a major name to search.

Setting: The type of area where the campus is located, such as small town or urban.

Undergraduate Enrollment: The total number of undergraduate students (full time and part time) enrolled at the campus.

Student to Faculty Ratio: The ratio of students per faculty member.

% Living on Campus: The percentage of first-year students currently enrolled living in housing administered by the institution.

Religious Affiliation: The religious affiliation, if any, of the university.

Sports: If you are interested in a particular sport and division, you can search for campuses that offer that sport.
