| Eligibility: | Undergraduate student who holds no bachelor's or higher degree, has financial need, and is a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen enrolled in an eligible school. Students enrolled in a postbaccalaureate teacher certificate or licensing program may also be eligible. |

| Academic Competitiveness Grant |
| Eligibility: | First- and second-year full-time undergraduate student who holds no bachelor's or higher degree, receives a Federal Pell grant, and is a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen enrolled in an eligible school. First-year students must have been enrolled in a "rigorous" high school program. Second-year students must have a 3.0 GPA after their first year in college. |

| National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent (SMART) Grant |
| Eligibility: | Third-and fourth-year full time undergraduate students majoring in certain areas of science, mathematics, and foreign language. They must be Federal Pell grant recipients and have at least a 3.0 GPA in their major to qualify. |
| Awards: | The maximum SMART award is $4,000 per year. |

| Gulf Coast Research Laboratory Minority Summer Grant |
| Eligibility: | Undergraduate or graduate Mississippi resident majoring in marine and environmental sciences at a Mississippi college or university who has been admitted as a full-time student at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory Summer Academic Institute and is classified as a minority student. |
| Awards: | Tuition and a stipend for one summer session. |

| Higher Education Legislative Plan (HELP) |
| Eligibility: | Financially needy Mississippi resident who is enrolled full-time as a freshman or sophomore at a Mississippi college or university and who graduated from high school within the immediate past two years. Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and at least a 20 on the ACT. |
| Awards: | Tuition and required fees for no more than ten semesters at a public college or university. Participants attending a private school will receive an award equal to the award of a student attending the nearest comparable public school. |

| Mississippi Eminent Scholars Grant (MESG) |
| Eligibility: | Mississippi resident who achieves a 3.5 GPA after at least seven semesters in high school, scores 29 on the ACT, and enrolls at an eligible Mississippi college or university. Students already in college are not eligible to apply. |
| Awards: | Up to $2,500 per academic year but not to exceed tuition and required fees at the school attended. |

| Mississippi Psychology Apprenticeship Program |
| Eligibility: | Mississippi resident who is a full-time freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in Psychology at a Mississippi college or university; has a 3.0 GPA; has been recommended by an instructor in the Department of Psychology at the school attended; and participates in a summer training program at a Veterans Administration Medical Center. |
| Awards: | $500 monthly stipend, not to exceed three months. |

| Mississippi Resident Tuition Assistance Grant (MTAG) |
| Eligibility: | Mississippi resident who achieves a 2.5 GPA after at least seven semesters in high school, and scores a 15 on the ACT. College student applicant must have a 2.5 GPA on all college work. |
| Awards: | Up to $500 per academic year for freshmen and sophomores and $1,000 per academic year for juniors and seniors. |
